Kouts

This depot was built by the Pennsylvania railroad and again I do not know it relationship to the Erie right of way.

North Judson

The following two older pictures were added on April 27th 2010. I purchased them From Jeff and John Strombeck. Hopefully I will be able to add the C&O station at some time.

Here is a photo of the PRR depot in North Judson taken by John Strombeck on Septmber 15, 1973. This station is no longer standing.Below is a photo of the combined NYC and Erie taken August 10,1047 by Harry Zillmer.

The depot pictured here is new. I am not sure if it is built a style used by any of the railroads that passed through here. They may also have been a C&O station of some kind as well. So although not really an Erie depot it is along the route.

Monterey

Here is the depot at Monterey Indiana. Although not in great condition it still stands.

Leiters Ford

The next standing depot heading west on the Erie is at Leitres Ford.

Rochester on the Erie

Since I started with a station in the Erie I will continue along the route heading west. Since at this time I do not have any pictures at Athens, Rochester will be next. This first picture is of the east end of the Depot.

Getting started

Here are four pictures of the depot in Akron Indiana. This station was built by the Erie Railroad.

As I figure out how this works I would like to add maps or aerial photos and some additional information for each station.
